CMP 704 Can be Used in: Diffusion Pumps.
CMP 704 is a single component silicone diffusion pump fluid engineered for high vacuums in the range of 10-6 torr untrapped to 10-8 torr trapped. It performs well in tough, rugged applications and offers quick pump-downs, even after exposure to air at operating temperatures. CMP 704 is thermally and chemically stable allowing it to keep pump jets free of tars and hard carbon. CMP 704 diffusion pump fluid is used to produce high vacuum for aerospace and electronic industries, for metallurgical and research needs, and for certain special vacuum coating applications. CMP 704 is considered the functional equivalent to Dow Corning 704®.
